Spruce Mountain Ranch Wedding | Larkspur, Colorado Wedding Photographer | Meghan + William

Meghan and William’s Spruce Mountain Ranch wedding this summer will always have a special place in my heart and I was so honored to be their wedding photographer.  This beautiful summer wedding was the epitome of two amazing caring and very loving families coming together to laugh, celebrate, be happily emotional while watching this beautiful loving couple come together in love.  Is it weird that I asked Meghan’s grandfather to adopt me?  It probably was, but that family was that amazing.  (Sorry for that awkward moment Ron)

I instantly fell in love with Meghan and William as a couple.  Meghan has this 1,000,000 watt smile and the kindest eyes you’ve ever seen.  You can see instantly that she cares and loves deeply about those around her.  William is super smart and right off the bat, I could tell he was wildly in love with Meghan and very protective of her.  Meghan and William were in their last semester of college, planning a beautiful wedding, and William found a job in Texas, so they were moving right after their honeymoon, and they were 0% stressed about their lives.  They were just so happy to be starting it together.  They are extraordinary human beings!

I arrived early to Spruce Mountain Ranch and the dark clouds of the summer were creeping in.  Meghan’s family were so worried about the rain, but I remained confident that Colorado doesn’t have long storms, they usually say hi and go on their way.  As the whole bridal party got ready, laughed and messed around the rain started and by the time they were done it stopped.

Their ceremony began and the lighting was perfect, the emotions were high.  Meghan’s uncle officiated the wedding and it was so loving.  There is just something about having a close family member bring you together that is so personal and heartfelt.  As the ceremony ended, the sun came out and shined on everyone and you couldn’t help but get that warm happy feeling that everything in the world was just right.

The reception did not disappoint.  The speeches were hilarious, the shoe game kept everyone laughing, and the dances were pretty much the most emotional dances I have ever seen.  You can tell how special everyone felt about each other.  As Meghan danced with her Grandfather, and the happy tears were running, the sweet ring bearer approached them with a Kleenex.   The tears fell away and the dance floor was jamming.  Even William’s dad was dancing around with his boys to House of Pain’s Jump Around.  It was simply one of those nights you just didn’t want to stop.

Meghan and William’s Spruce Mountain Ranch summer wedding was just too good and I have a feeling they have years and years of happy nights just like this ahead of them.
