I'm wildly invested in my couples and their day. Emotionally invested. I naturally love and care about people and want the best for you. I never want to just show up, take photos and deliver them. I'm not Olan Mills (I’m showing my age now). I want to really get to know you and deliver the exact experience you want.
I'm a natural cheerleader. I mean, I was never one of the popular cool kids. It's more like, I'm here to love and encourage you. You are going to have an awesome day and I'm going to do everything in my power to do that, even if it has nothing to do with photography. (Yes I was a cheerleader for one miserable year of high school because my mom wouldn't let me quit and then morphed into a bitter Daria, and that totally sums me up.)
But don't let the pom-pom analogy fool you. I seriously have my ‘ish in order because I want the best for ya. Once that contract is signed, it's just the beginning. I will check-in through the process. I will text you back if you need advice on your dress/flowers/Converse sneakers/first dance song. I try to provide a level of client service that leaves you with zero questions and 100% satisfaction.
So how do we make this happen?
It’s kinda like a dance.
+ Step 1— You see me across the room... (Read: the internet)
...and we make eye contact (read: your eyes on this page). Then, you think to yourself, “She can’t be dancing that way” (read: trying so hard to make this analogy work). But then you realize that I always dance like no one is watching and write my websites that way too. And now we’re both laughing and you want in on the fun.
+ Step 2— So you want to dance...
...and you fill out my contact form, and I immediately send you all my information and we set up a call and chat and make sure this dance is really going to happen and we aren’t stepping on each other’s feet or bonking on the head.
+ Step 3— You have the wedding that YOU have always wanted...
...I show up and give you a big old hug because I am pumped for your day!! We capture all the moments and I make it as stress free and freaking fun as possible. You need someone out of the room to breathe? You’ve got it. You want your bridal party to run like a T-rex is chasing them? On it. You need a moment to yourself with your person? I’m out. I work closely with the other vendors to make your day go as seamlessly as possible.
+ Step 4 — The reason you are here, the photographs...
...4-6 weeks go by and suddenly you receive an email notification that your photos are here. You receive a beautiful online gallery with all the moments; some you remember, some you have already forgotten, and some you never even saw but love. We start planning a meeting for your wedding album design and it all finishes with hundreds of digital photos and a gorgeous wedding album meant to last generations.
