What is Old, is New Again
Maybe this is the theme of my life lately as I'm completely renovating my home. This is more than that though, this is the home I also grew up in so I'm really trying to make it the house that I'm "adulting" in, not just grew up in, however that is for a different blog.
A long time ago, I saw a photo of a toddler in their mom's wedding dress and I thought that was a cute idea. It's been on my mind for years, but not in my plan of action until recently. I finally dragged out my most expensive dress out, which has been worn only once on May 2, 2009 and Sienna and I traveled over to the Arvada Center to their sculpture garden to do some shooting.
What I was not ready for was the fact she pretty much already fit into it, and also I wasn't ready for the glimpse into the future to see she will be an absolutely jaw dropping gorgeous bride. This wasn't quite the look I was going for, but we had fun. I'm in no hurry for her to grow up, in fact I wish it would slow down, but I remember wanting to play dress up with my mom and so I just embraced it.
