Ruben and Krysta

Ruben and Krysta were referred to me by Ruben's sister, Gina,  for engagement photos.  His sister and I share an ex-boyfriend.  (Say what you will, but that man has incredible taste in women.)

The thing that struck me the most about Ruben and Krysta is how they absolutely just jive together.  You can tell, they just found their person in each other.  They are also one of the most fun couples I have ever met.  You will not be around them and not end up laughing and having a good time.  After I took their photos for their engagement session I thought to myself, "Oh that's it.  You don't want to hang out forever?"  That's the kind of people they are.

Ruben and Krysta were married at Krysta's mom's house.  A gorgeous property out in Brighton, Colorado.  There was so much love in the air.  Her mom just invites you into her house and makes you feel like part of the family.  She was obviously very comfortable having large amounts of people over as never once did she stress.  (I would have been running around in a panic, so there will not be any weddings at my house).

Right before the ceremony a typical Colorado afternoon storm pushed in and pushed us inside.  I have never seen a more, "No problem, just handle it." group of people.  Ruben's sister, Gina officiated the wedding.  What an amazing public speaker! She said she had never done that before, but trust me, you would never known.  You would have thought it was her day job she made it so seamless.

As all weddings full of love do, they progress into a great party, with laughter, love, and dancing into the night.  Ruben and Krysta, thank you so much for giving me the honor of documenting such an amazingly beautiful day!  I will never forget this wedding!  I'm excited to watch your story and see what the next chapter holds!
