Heidi and Steve

I met Heidi years ago at a restaurant that will not be given any credit.  Heidi is such a fun loving girl and I'm not going to lie, we probably got into a little bit of trouble together at one time.  Heidi is an amazing hair stylist and can rock color like nobody's business.  She has a sweet boxer named Lux that has been her sidekick for as long as I've known her.  I simply love being around Heidi.

 What a lot of people don't know about Heidi is that she is the person who planted the seed for my photography business.  Last fall she asked me to take her engagement photos.  Although in college I had taken photos of people, I hadn't done it in years and was only practicing photography with landscapes as they have low expectations of my work.   So we headed out to Golden Gate Canyon State Park in the beautiful Colorado mountains to do a session and a business was born.

I absolutely adore Heidi and Steve.  They totally just get each other.  Steve is so thoughtful and kind.  They just compliment each other perfectly.  Heidi and Steve were married in the Dominican Republic on 7-17-17 and decided to return to the place they had their engagement pictures for a hometown reception in the mountains.  They were lucky enough to have a wedding at both the beach and in the mountains.  It was a gorgeous end of a summer evening in the mountains, there were games of cornhole, a bond fire, and some amazing bbq.  It was a perfect night to celebrate love and this amazing couple and enjoy the fresh crisp mountain air.
