Colorado Mountain Wedding-Hannah + Skyler-Chief Hosa Wedding
Mountain weddings, couples madly in love, being in Colorado shooting gorgeous people, these are a few of my favorite things. I had the absolute honor to shoot Hannah and Skyler's gorgeous mountainside wedding at Chief Hosa on the Summer Solstice. It was the longest day of the year and Hannah and Sky used every single minute to laugh, love, and celebrate.
The ceremony was just perfect, with happy sweet tears and laughter being such a big part of the day. It was one of those weddings where my face hurt from all the laughs! Afterward, everyone was dancing and genuinely having the time of their life. I think my favorite moment of the day was when one of Sky's family members turned to me with her face lit up and exclaimed, "We are so lucky we get Hannah!!" I totally teared up. I was so honored to be a part of this kind of day and such expressions of love. Watching two families come together as one and to be so authentically happy about it is an amazing thing.
To add to this day, Colorado was being a showoff that day. Although it started off a bit warm, the afternoon clouds moved in, the deer came meandering down the mountain, and the skies lit up in celebration of such a wonderful long summer day. It couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you, Hannah & Sky, for entrusting me to document your amazing wedding in photographs. Here’s wishing you a lifetime of happiness ... and the best part is it's all in front of you!
