Indian Peaks Engagement-Haley, Matt and Denver
I had an absolute blast with Matt and Haley at their engagement session up at Indian Peaks Wilderness. New vistas, cute puppy, fabricating names, beer, and true love; I mean, what’s not to enjoy? I love the Brainard Lake Recreational Area. The forest services do such a good job maintaining the integrity of the area, keeping it pristine by controlling crowds and not letting us humans ruin it for everyone and well, overall ensuring it stays just breathtaking.
Matt and Haley are from Florida, which I find interesting that they ended up in Colorado. I guess they just weren't water people; they had a love for Colorado and the mountains that brought them west. So much so that they named their incredibly cute pup, Denver. How awesome is that?! They had never been to the Brainard Lake area before, and showing people fun and amazing places in Colorado is one of my favorite things to do (or “in life” instead of to do??). I could tell they were blown away by the view and the stunning mountain range surrounding the lake. It so fun to watch people just soak in all the scenery and take their breath away.
So, true confession--I owe Matt an apology. At first, I heard his name as “Pat” when we were introduced, and so I called him that. Then I reverted to Ryan, as I had just had a wedding with a groom named Ryan. So Matt, thank you for being so kind to me, and forgiving me all my names I had for you. I feel horrible! But even with the name mistakes, we had so much fun as we ran around the lake and in the fields of vibrant wildflowers, snuggled in the hammock (them not me), they toasted their love with some beer from Denver Beer Co, and Denver ran around having the time of his life. Matt and Haley were so sweet, the weather was gorgeous and the evening was so serene for their engagement session. I'm so excited that Haley and Matt are getting married and can spend forever together. I am wishing them a lifetime of happiness doing all the things they love.
